Overview

Sharegate is a desktop software application that provides content copy/migration tools for SharePoint power users.  It provides powerful metadata editing capabilities, version history support, advanced property/content type mappers and a lot more.

The installation program includes three tools:


The Sharegate extension is only required if you want to maintain the system properties (author and timestamps) when copying to SharePoint 2007.

Instructions

Client:

  1. Click the Download button on this page on the Web installer or the Offline installer.
  2. Run the installation program from your PC.

Server (optional):

  1. Click the Download button on this page for the Extension installer.
  2. Copy the installer file to your SharePoint Web Front-end server.
  3. Run the installation program from the SharePoint Server.
